Memorial Day Weekend

Let me start out by saying that our happiness was tempered this weekend by sorrow and mourning for a dear family in our church who lost both of their young children in a car crash when a truck failed to stop at a light. Please keep this family in your prayers. May God comfort them, heal them, and give them peace that passes all understanding, as only He can.

With that, here are some photos of Peter getting to know his family and his new city this weekend. It has been beautiful to see how much Noah loves and cares for his little brother. It was also wonderful to spend time with Matt's parents and see Peter becoming comfortable with them, as well.

  1. Hi Matt and Allie-

Saddened by the news of the tragic loss of one of your church families and we will keep them in our prayers.

We finally made it home from China on Friday after 28.5 hours of travel. We can finally comment on your blog since we are using our PC and not the phones. I hope you guys are getting over the jet lag, as its taken Becky and I some time. Leila actually started sleeping 10 hours our second night here, so that's a blessing. It's great to have her home with her brothers and big sister. They are showering her lots of love and attention.

Its great to see Noah and Peter bonding so well. The pics make it look like they've been together for years. Becky and I were very appreciative of your friendship in Guangzhou and will keep you guys in our prayers. We will definitely stay in touch. Be safe!
