Matt and I have clearly heard God's call to adopt from China. Through this blog, I will share our journey as we obey His will.
Why China? In April 2013, I wrote an article about a woman who has now become a friend and guide through our adoption process. She has adopted three children from China, two of whom have special needs, and she returned to China on a mission trip to the special needs orphanage where two of her children once lived. Ever since I wrote that article, the orphans of China have been on my heart. About two months ago, I knew God was calling our family to adopt. After much prayer and discussion, my husband and I embarked on this faith walk to adopt.
